Here is the result of a small test (G'MIC 1.5.6.1 beta - O.S.=Win8-64bit) with the image of the clown.

The images of the test are in the archive .zip

Command lines :

gmic image0.png image1.png image2.png --fitshape

gmic image0.png image1.png image2.png -fitshape 5,20,10 -o test.jpg

I've some ideas to improve this command in the future, principally by allowing the preservation of the original alpha-channel of the shape. For now, the alpha-channel of the shape is 'binarized' and the rendered image is then always a RGB image, that may be a limitation for some effects in the future.
I must admit I like this command very much, and I see a lot of potential (artistic or not) for using it.

Here's another test with various patterns and masks.
The patterns are 1.png to 6.png, it may have other shapes and colors.
The masks are images a.png to f.png.
