I'd like to place all the banners I made into a single post. I would have to replace/rename the xcf files as well as the original png images.
Would that be alright for me to do? :puzzled

You're welcome to do that. It's just that it makes it more difficult to keep track of the banners when they are scattered around. If you want to keep the banners in the banner thread, in a single post, that would be cool. I can deleted the old posts.

Wallace one way to do that would be to copy all your existing banner links into one post rather than uploading new files. You should be able to do this by edit and copy the link code.

That could be done with inserted images, but attachments need to be deleted from one post and reattached to another or they will end up being orphaned in the system. Attachments have to be associated with a specific post, which is done when they are attached. C&Ping attachments will result in orphaned attachments.

Well, thanks for the suggestions you guys, but on second thought... I'll just leave well enough alone. It's just that as things stand, the banner images are scattered anyway within the thread they were posted to.
It would be nice to have a place where all the banner image can be viewed, with out having to go through every posting just to view what others have created.

For some reason, I can't see your avatar, Wallace. It just says "User Avatar".

That's kinda odd. I checked the permissions in the avatar folder and they're correct. Can you upload the avatar again, just to see what happens?

Thanks!

Mine wasn't showing up either. I just had to go into the control panel and upload it again.

I only just noticed this oddity!? I'll upload my avatar image again. Should be good now. Why do you think this occurred?

I''m not sure, Wallace. It might have had something to do with the migration to the new host. Yours was the only avatar that I couldn't see, even though it sounds like Warrior had a similar problem.

We will keep an eye on this to see if it happens again.

Could it be that they both had animated avatars? Might that be the connection?

Mine showed up but didn't animate when I first came in after the migration. I reuploaded it and it works fine now.
