Okey so, I was watching/listening to Mark Crilley's Vlog video and wanted to draw sth while I did that (I always when it's something long have to be doing something else too) so...This is the sketch I came up with, total time so far is about an hour and a half...Sketching...Definitely more time than when I was 14. xD

Okay so anyways, I might make this another WIP like with the other dancer girl I posted, I'm not sure yet but at least here you'll have the Sketch before it's colored.

Considering that I hate hands and draw them horribly I think they came out pretty good! I just hope they don't die when I ink. :lol

Original Image

Update 1:
I decided yep a bit of a WIP image; Okey I was looking at her this morning and thought about how I'd color her and I thought of candy stripes for her leggin socks and how I'd tie it all together...And them I'm thinking..."hmm...I'll give her a candy background and call her the "Candy Dancer" - Sooo...her name is candy dancer now! xD

Update 1

I might add a bow to the lollipop I'm not sure yet. - and after that....Inking!! O.o

I will ink her then I will color her...Unless I loose motivation which I hope will not happen! :hehe
More updates to come! :D

Update 2:
In this update I added the bow to the lollipop stick and added a stem for the rose so it looks more 3 Dementional, then I inked it! Inking Process Here
Update 2

Update 3:

I've started coloring her! Colored pencils so far, I might just use them as she's looking find without and moist media, only a white pen in the end probably...Not sure yet!
I'm trying to use NO prismacolors, kinda like a proof thing on my blog that you don't need the best stuff to be good!

12 colored pencils so far.

Update 3

Update 4:
Okey so I decided to go with markers after all, I messed the hair up and had to fix with markers then the rest didn't look saturated enough so...Puft! xD

18 markers and 26 colored pencils so far!

Image

Finished!

I finished her, colored the BG and put think outlines on the basic outer edges!
I wanted to do more updates but I kinds was like feeling stressed out trying to remember everything I did so... XD

I hope yous like it!

32 Markers, 31 Colored pencils, 4 pens, pencil to sketch and paper. :hehe

Very cool moko! Can't wait to see the final product!

I certainly can't draw at all! Takes some effort to draw straight lines with a ruler on some days :lol

She looks beautiful Moko. I have to admit I find hands very difficult. The worst problem is getting them in proportion to the rest of the body. You've managed it well.

Hi Mokonafan,

Now I'm hoping to see the ink and color this sketch. See the process being gradually built always appreciates the end result.
Undismayed, all speed ahead! :paint

ahah xD
Well to be honest that's being smart, I hardly ever use a ruler which shows when I try to ink. xD
I'm glad you like it! :D

Thank You! :D
I thought her hands looked a bit big personally, but I'm not erasing them because they came out so good. :lol

mokonafan: beautiful! i love her eyes and i think the candy background is charming - makes me a bit hungry :). i think the hands look great and not too big - putting my hands in front of my face they reach from my chin to the middle of my forehead, and i don't have unusually large hands, looks like her hands wouldn't be bigger than that.
looking forward to seeing this coloured - hoping for a bit of pink here and there...

Really? I thought her eyes were a bit simple! xD
I don't know if I like them after I inked them they look a little odd, but the pic of them could have messed them up in resizing flipping and everything else. XD

..Hmm, if you put it that way I guess her hands are fine..! And they didn't die when I inked them! :jumpclap ...Too much anyway. :P

I hope the update is pleasing to look at...Especially since I can't change it now. :lol
