Thanks for the tip about cool colours, BaukjeSpirit. I've been reading a lot about the temperature of colours lately and it's a very complicated subject, for me anyway.
The finished picture looks great, keep up the good work.

Thank you everyone :D

Interesting combination of sharp edges and almost iconic style with dreamy lighting. This gives a clean and friendly impression that would work well in a children's book or similar I think. Had I not known it was done today I would half expect this to be pixel-art too, there is something in the grass style that reminds me of this most endearing era of computer graphics.

Like it a lot, BaukjeSpirit, good job!

Thank you! And I wished it was pixel art :hehe I've always wanted to be able to create my own pixel art scenes.

I like it, nice work. Something seems to be missing, but don't know what that might be. Maybe add in a small forest creature or something like that. Still really nice fantasy forest.

Thanks! There will be forest creatures, but they will be added later like Moko said :D

You're welcome. And I agree it is a complicated subject, I mostly study photos and drawings and take note of colors, textures, shapes etc. and take that with me when I draw :)
