O , a bit off topic i like this a lot

Image

and i soon i saw i tought would be cool combine it with gmic/sequences/Polaroid , i mean with the image that come as from far spinning and getting closer and closer, expanding when also the bubbles start to expand and than looping back.

But weird as it may sound i have no idea on how to apply a "animated" gmic filters to animation

(and i still have to reinstall gimp and gmic :gaah ...)

Well, PhotoComix, I can "polaroid" it and have each layer come out as a polaroid picture using G'MIC (did it all at once), but the growing from nothing to full sized and spinning I'd have to think on that. Didn't Fencepost have a script that did that?

Later entry. Here's a link to the script I'm thinking about: http://fence-post.deviantart.com/art/An ... -152176333

No O
there are (or at least there were, i am still fighting with the new laptop and i still have to reinstall gimp-gmic ) 2 polaroid filters in gmic

I think you refer to the first , the most visible but there is also a animated version (should be in the "sequences" gmic submenu ) that allow to set a initial and a final size

It will create a animation but i am not sure that could be applied to a sequence,
more clearly obviously IT COULD be applied to a animation, is just needed to have all frames as layers and chose as gmic input "all layers"

BUT the result will be really messy and delusively far to what desired :

what desired:
supposing a animation of ten frames ,going from setting 1 to setting 10 (setting 1 is determined from the initial value chosen , 10 by the ending values chosen , the other 8 in between are automatically calculated by the filter) , applied to edit a already animated 10 frames sequence, imported as layer stack of 10 layers desired result would be

1 ) layer 1( the top layer )edited with setting 1 (=1 new frames, = 1 new image or layer ,depending from the output option chosen)
2) layer 2 edited with setting 2 ((2 frame of desired animation)
3) and so on and on till Layer 10 edited with setting

and result will be a 10 frames animation ready

But instead as now gmic would

1) apply setting to 1 to 10 to the first layer , creating 10 new frames from it
(=10 new images or layers)
2) same for layer 2 , output would be 10 new frames
3) same for all other layer

And so the final result will be not a animation of 10 layers ready, but 100 images to sort out :

of those only 10 are needed and should be manually searched and saved, and the rest, the 90% are rendered only because there is not a command to prevent it but are just to end in the trash bin

Maybe here is some solution i didn't think of ?

I believe could be

Hi @Graechan, does this script run on Gimp 2.10?
Would it be possible to revive it? :flirt
It looks very interesting! :lick

I believe that MareroQ had posted a fix for this script, though I didn't try it out. viewtopic.php?f=9&t=18527&hilit=air+bubbles#p253019

This can be a difficult problem to solve - for me the version (0.4) in Gimp-2.10.22 (gimp.org and portable Samj) given in the link works very well for me ...

MareroQ, it works great for me, too. Thanks for your adaptation.

As it turned out my Rel4 for 2.10 was OK but the initial portable version of 2.10.22 from Samj is buggy, she has fixed with a V2 That I have installed just have to test before I post
